Obviously

December 14, 2017

Lana came over to make a gingerbread house.  She played air guitar with the papier-mâché violin in the living room which was surprising and funny.  Her mom did almost the entire gingerbread house while Lana was constantly asking to eat a piece of the candy.  She eventually got one little piece but prior to that was resorting to singing or chanting her wants of candy.

We put a couple wrapped Christmas gifts for her under the tree already and she walked up to the tree, saw the different Frozen wrapping paper, princesses and Olaf, and said “obviously, these two are for me“ :)

Does anyone want a piece of chocolate cake?

July 4th 2017

At the cabin.

After a long delay with no response, Lana is the only one who responded to Randi's question of "does anyone want a piece of chocolate cake?"

We had fun with her naming all the colors in a crayons box.

And then Randi teaching her the party pooper song.  This was when Troy had gone to bed before everyone.

It's just scribble grandpa

June 17th 2017

Lana gave me a Father's Day card with some of her writing inside. It was with a yellow marker and I couldn't make out anything. I asked her "what does it say?" I asked this with excitement, thinking that it might have been her trying to spell something for grandpa.  She looked at it and then dryly explained "it's just scribble grandpa".

Scooter girl!

June 6th 2017

Lana spent most of the summer of 2017 calling herself "scooter girl"

 That face!  :)

Batgirl likes sugar

March 2017

She was over at the house, dressed like batgirl. We gave her Gatorade and it had an immediate effect. When Brooke came over and we were explaining why her motor was running at high idle, we look over at her and she's mumbling "batgirl likes sugar" over and over.

We have since found that she really can't handle the Gatorade rush.
